Figurative

Artist Statement:

My figurative work pairs spontaneous image-making with the exploration of paint application techniques. I use glowing, vivid palettes and
glowing settings  that are inspired by the natural world to set the stage for figures and narratives to emerge on the surface.
The images that arise are varied-- related to memories, life situations
I am struggling with, or figures depicted in private fictions of reverie, work, self-care, interpersonal relationship, psychological drama, spiritual discovery, the enjoyment of nature, or play.
